APJEE 2014 Eligibility:
Academic Qualifications:
i. Diploma Courses: Appeared or passed Class-X or equivalent.
ii. Degree Courses: Appeared or passed Class-XII or equivalent examination in Science stream.
Age Limit:
i. Diploma Courses: 15 to 18 years as on the date of admission in the particular institution to which the candidate may be nominated.
ii. Degree Courses: 17 to 21 years as on the date of admission in the particular institution to which the candidate may be nominated.
However the upper age limit of SC/ST candidates is relaxable by 3 years.
Application Forms and Information Brochure shall be issued w.e.f. 2014 at the following centres:
1. Directorate of Higher &Technical Education, Itanagar.
2. All DDSE office at [Along, Pasighat, Yingkiong, Bomdila, Ziro, Seppa, Changlang, Roing, Daporijo, Tezu, Khonsa]
Submission of the Application Form:
The filled application form (OMR) along with the Acknowledegement Card with postage stamp of Rs.6/- affixed, the envelope for dispatch of the admit card with postage stamp of Rs.25/- affixed are to be kept inside the envelope addressed to The Controller of Examination, APJEE and given to you alongwith the application form.
APJEE 2014 Syllabus:
Diploma: CBSE prescribed syllabus for Classes IX and X.
Degree: CBSE prescribed syllabus for Classes XI and XII.
APJEE 2014 Scheme of Examination:
The question papers of the APJEE will be in English only. All questions will be of Objective Type with multiple-choice answers. Each question will carry 4 marks for a correct response. For each incorrect answer to a question, 1 mark will be deducted. There shall be no deduction for un-attempted question.
Degree Courses:
Note: Question papers of Physics and chemistry will be same for both PCB and PCM group and the examinations shall be conducted in a single sitting in the same time and same day.
Diploma Courses:
APJEE 2014 Admit Card:
Admit card shall be dispatched to the eligible candidates at the respective addresses as provided by the candidate in the application form in the last week of April by Speed/Registered Post.
APJEE 2014 Examination Centres: Itanagar, Naharlagun and Nirjuli.
APJEE 2014 Result:
Result of APJEE 2014 will be declared category-wise in the form of MERIT LIST for all the candidates who have appeared in the examination.
MERIT LIST will be prepared separately for Diploma Courses, PCM Degree Courses and PCB Degree Courses.
APJEE 2014 Seats:
i) Category-I : 80% of seats
ii) Category-II : 12% of seats
iii) Category-III : 4% of seats
iv) Category-IV : 4% of seats
Medical Group: MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS etc.
Engineering Group: Various branches of engineering courses
Agriculture Group: B.Sc (Agri/Hort/Fishery), B.V.Sc & AH etc.
APJEE 2014 Counselling:
i. The date of Counselling for allotment of seats shall be finalized only on receipt of allotment of seats from the Government of India.
ii. Allotment of seat will be made strictly on the basis of merit list of APJEE.
